Following the launch of DUO camera at ShowRCA 2013, I incorporated Fotowith Limited to develop the concept further.
After a series of testing and design iterations, I discovered that when people see themselves, they are usually more relaxed and playful.
Which makes me wonder, what if people could always see what photographer sees in real time? Will they feel more comfortable? To test it out, I made the "Project Mirror", it is an attachment that turns your smartphone into a dual display camera. It allows the person being photographed to have more control over the photo-taking process.
While most of the tools today are created for the photographer, we believe there should be a tool that is genuinely designed for people standing on the other side of the camera. By introducing Project Mirror, we are aiming to create a new photo-taking experience that everyone can engage and enjoy.
